Certificate of Insurance (COI)
Cupertino commercial buildings and tech campuses typically require proof of insurance before allowing movers on site. We've streamlined this process:
Building Coordination Experts
Cupertino office buildings and tech campuses set their own requirements for commercial moves. We coordinate the building-side logistics:
Freight Elevator Booking
We coordinate with building management to reserve freight elevator time, often required 2+ weeks in advance for major office buildings.
Loading Dock Scheduling
Commercial buildings often share loading docks. We reserve time slots and coordinate with other tenants' moves.
Move Window Compliance
Many tech campuses restrict moves to specific hours. We comply with building policies and security protocols.
Protected by Our 15-Point Commercial Protocol
Every Cupertino commercial move follows our proprietary 15-point asset-protection framework. Phase 3 includes Detailed Inventory Tagging, Vacuum-Sealed Hardware Archiving, and the $10M Final Verification. Standard on every job.
Frequently Asked Questions About Office Moving
Common questions from Cupertino businesses planning a commercial relocation.
Ontrack Moving® quotes Cupertino commercial moves from a free on-site survey rather than a phone estimate. Costs depend on office size, equipment complexity, floor levels, and timing. Every office is different, so the survey sets the scope. Contact us to schedule a walkthrough and receive a detailed quote that reflects the full scope before moving day. Final charges will be based on actual labor time, materials used, access conditions, scope changes, waiting time, and any additional services requested or required to complete the move.
Ontrack Moving® schedules most Cupertino commercial moves for after-hours, starting at 6 PM, or on weekends. This limits disruption to your team and often aligns with building freight elevator availability. We schedule many small-to-medium office moves across a single weekend so your team's downtime falls outside business hours.
Ontrack Moving® issues Certificates of Insurance ahead of move day and turns around most requests during business hours. Ontrack Moving® carries $10,000,000 Combined Protection Tower for building and premises damage, with basic $0.60/lb cargo liability per article on your goods. If your building requires specific endorsements (additional insured, waiver of subrogation), we can accommodate most requests. Just send us the building's requirements and we'll have the COI to property management before your move. Cupertino corporate campuses and Stevens Creek corridor offices typically require COIs with specific property damage limits listed.
Yes. Ontrack Moving® crews are trained in IT equipment handling including servers, switches, routers, UPS systems, and multi-monitor workstations. We use anti-static packaging, specialized server carts, and climate-aware transport. We recommend coordinating with your IT team on disconnect/reconnect sequencing - we'll work around their schedule to help the transition go smoothly. We schedule campus IT equipment moves during weekend maintenance windows where building policy calls for it.
Ontrack Moving® recommends booking Cupertino commercial moves 4-8 weeks in advance. This allows time for a site survey, building coordination (freight elevators, COIs, loading docks), and proper planning. End-of-month and quarter-end dates are our busiest. If you need a rush move, contact us - we can sometimes accommodate 1-2 week lead times depending on move size and building requirements.
Yes. Cubicle systems, modular workstations, and office furniture assembly/disassembly are standard services. Our crews are experienced with Herman Miller, Steelcase, and most major office furniture brands. We can also reconfigure layouts if you're changing your floor plan during the move. We document panel system inventory before disassembly begins.
We provide secure file transport for tech companies, financial services, and any business with confidential records. Options include locked file bins, sealed containers, and documented handling logs. For high-security needs, we can assign dedicated crews and arrange additional valuation coverage.
HOA-friendly crew, no scuffs or dents
Crew: Eduardo, Mauricio, and Richard. They did a great job and I think the HOA will be pleased as well as they did not leave any scuffs or dents in their move and parked the large truck as instructed and out of the way of residents coming and going. I did not make it easy as I had certain items that needed to stay for me to sort through, and none of these items ended up in the destination storage unit. Having the energetic crew help with this move was definitely worth the expense, a good value and communication was smooth. Would hire again!

Foreman-led crew built a box for my mattress
Ontrack movers did a great job from packing to unloading my things. The company did not have a box for my mattress but my movers: Eduardo, the foreman and his crew: Telmo, Tony, Javier, and Luis created a box for my mattress. It arrived in great shape. Eduardo had a different and smaller crew to unload but Zach and Johnny were as hard working as the other crew members.

In-Person Survey, Transparent Process
Ontrack Moving was fantastic. Paul came out to survey our storage locker and apartment and provided a fair bid... On the load in day, four Ontrack guys came and took care of the storage locker in short order... Nelson and Carlos were very careful with antiques, a 75" television, loads of boxes... Their process was transparent, communication was clear, pricing was fair, and professionalism was solid!
