Ontrack Moving did a wonderful job with my
Ontrack Moving did a wonderful job with my move today! Jonathan and Arturo did amazing work, were very professional, friendly, and quick. Jonathan went over the contract and explained the entire process. They arrived early which I really appreciated. They were considerate and careful with my belongings. Jonathan has lots of experience as a mover with San Francisco moves which is great since SF can be so hectic. Carmina was the original point person and helped me to book the move. She was informative, friendly, and very helpful. Ontrack Moving gave me an online estimate which made everything easy to understand, and the pricing and costs were upfront and complete transparent. I highly recommend Ontrack Moving!

Bay Area to SoCal with care
Antonio, Javier, and Jonathan were awesome movers! They helped my family move from the Bay Area to SoCal. They came on day one, and loaded everything up in the truck. Delivered the next day to SoCal. They stayed to load everything in the garage, and assembled furniture in designated rooms. We had lots of over flow, so they drove the rest of the items to a storage unit, and loaded and fit everything in there. Highly recommend Ontrack for moving needs!

Ontrack Moving is a direct carrier with headquarters in Hayward, CA, providing same-state California moves with dedicated trucks and local knowledge at both ends of the route. We hold USDOT #2551548 and California license CAL-T190721, and maintain a 4.9/5 average rating from 2,847+ verified reviews on Google and Yelp. Our $10M Combined Protection Tower coverage exceeds most building requirements. We serve the entire Bay Area for San Diego relocations, not just San Francisco.
The primary route is I-5 South through the Central Valley and Los Angeles, continuing to San Diego. This is approximately 500 miles from most Bay Area locations. We monitor traffic conditions and typically transit the LA corridor during overnight or early morning hours to minimize delays. GPS tracking is included so you can follow your shipment in real time. We may use alternate routes through US-101 or CA-99 when conditions warrant.
Enter USDOT 2551548 into the FMCSA SAFER database. You will see our federal safety record, insurance status, 0% Out-of-Service Rate, and operating authority. Brokers cannot produce this record because they do not operate trucks. If a company cannot give you a USDOT number tied to an active carrier authority, they are selling your move to someone else.
A carrier like Ontrack owns the trucks and employs the crews. Your belongings stay on the same truck from Bay Area pickup to San Diego delivery with no warehouse handoffs. Brokers sell your move to the lowest-bidding subcontractor, which means your items may be reloaded multiple times at interim warehouses. For a 500-mile same-state California move, direct carrier custody eliminates the most common source of damage and delay.
We recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance for the Bay Area to San Diego corridor, especially during peak season (May through September). This allows time for an accurate inventory, scheduling your preferred dates, and coordinating any building requirements at your San Diego destination. Contact us at (888) 914-8787 to check availability for your timeline.

Moved a 3-bedroom townhouse efficiently
Moved from Union City to Concord. Communication with the company was very easy. They provided all the information and broke down the cost for me to understand. We had a team of 4 people for a 3 bedroom townhouse. Leonel, Carlos, Raul, and Marvin were extremely efficient. They moved our large items quickly and carefully. Our places had some tricky corners, and they were still able to maneuver carefully. They had to take apart some items, but they reassembled them at the new house.
Dublin to Fresno in one day
Ceasar, Eduardo, and Victor were amazing. They moved us from Dublin to a two bedroom in Fresno in a single day. They went above and beyond especially in weather over 100 degrees and up three flights of stairs. I wouldn't want any other team! I appreciate all their work immensely.
First of all, we moved from the bay
First of all, we moved from the bay area to a house 3 hours north. I asked Chat GPT to help me find some moving companies to get estimates from. One of them was Ontrac moving. Most of our furniture is only 2-3 years old and we were worrried that it would be damaged in the move. We chose Ontrac and we are so happy we did! They gave us a flat rate bid and they provided so many things along the way. At the last minute we needed help packing and they swooped in and packed for us. We are so grateful for them coming to help us. They are worth every dollar!
