Direct carrier service, not warehouse handoffs. Your shipment rides on Ontrack trucks with Ontrack crews.

The Ontrack advantage
Direct Carrier, Faster Transit, No Brokers
Most interstate movers are brokers who sell your move to subcontractors. That means strangers handling your belongings and no accountability when something goes wrong. Ontrack operates differently. We are a direct carrier with our own trucks and crews.
Dedicated Trucks
Your belongings travel on a dedicated Ontrack truck with no shared loads. No stops to pick up other customers' items. Direct from your Bay Area home to your Portland destination.
GPS Tracking
Know where your belongings are throughout the journey. Our trucks are GPS tracked, and your move coordinator keeps you updated on transit progress.
Faster Delivery Options
The 640-mile route is shorter than many interstate moves. For smaller households, same-day or next-day delivery may be possible. Full households typically arrive within 1-2 days.
Flat-Rate Pricing
Your estimate is based on a detailed inventory, not hourly billing or weight. No fuel surcharges, and clear, itemized pricing. What we quote is transparent.

CA to Oregon move, no hidden costs
My family used Ontrack to move from CA to Oregon. After hearing horror stories from friends about their interstate moving experiences, I was determined to find an honest company that would treat our items with respect... No truck sharing, no multiple addresses to coordinate delivery. Clear pricing that was set. There were no hidden costs like transportation or use of materials fees. Alex gave us an accurate estimate. I had SEVERAL companies come to do estimates. The trucks have regulatory weight limits for long distance, so weight estimates matter... Alex seemed more knowledgeable, and my gut told me he was right. During the loading, the movers were respectful of our home and property. They worked hard and efficient, but without being reckless. The trucks were packed neatly and tight. I definitely would recommend them.

880 miles north, arrived on time
Ontrack Moving was fantastic. Paul came out to survey our storage locker and apartment and provided a fair bid for a move from Burlingame, CA to Oak Harbor, WA. He was able to meet our timeline for scheduling the load in and the big, two day drive up north... Nelson and Carlos made their way 880 miles north to our new house. They arrived on time and got their truck completely cleared out in just about three hours. They placed all of our furniture and personal items where they needed to be. Nelson and Carlos were very careful with antiques, a 75" television, loads of boxes, dishes. Their congenial, can-do attitude, coupled with the Ontrack office doing the planning behind the scenes made a complicated process work. We would recommend them for any residential long distance move.

Long distance move, packed up everything quickly
Carmina was great to work with, she answered all my questions and helped to set up the payment for us. Ervin, Edgar, and the moving team were amazing! They packed up everything very quickly and efficiently, making sure the furniture was covered. The wardrobe boxes and padding blankets all looked clean which was very nice. Friendly and fast movers made our long distance move a breeze!
